Snape Maltings is a unique collection of converted granaries and malt houses in the old malt factory which now host a wide range of shops, particularly home and garden shops, alongside a beautiful riverbank.
The "Plough and sail" in a great pub and restaurant to make up calories that were lost on the beautiful walks round the site along the river alde, with its abundant wildlife around the reed beds. Not forgetting the granary tea shop located on site. Tide permitting, you can also take a boat excursion around the upper reaches of the River Alde - a good way to see the animal and bird life of the salt marshes.

Snape Maltings Concert Hall is an 832 seater concert hall which began life as a Malt House built by Newson Garrett and was opened by Queen Elizabeth in 1967.
